Legal & General investments announces new fund manager line up.

Legal & General Investments (L&GI) today announces new fund manager arrangements for four of its unit trusts.

L&GI aims to align its talented fund managers with the most appropriate portfolios. These changes will ensure we have the best match between our fund managers' expertise and the respective portfolio's investment objectives.

Simon Pistell, MD, L&GI commented:

Manager Biographies

Guy Rushton - Fund Manager

Guy is a fund manager on the UK Equity desk and is responsible for the analysis of the support services and general financials sectors. Prior to joining LGIM in July 2008, Guy worked as a health care equity analyst at Clear Capital. Guy graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2005 with an MA degree in Medical Sciences. He has completed the CFA examinations.

Nigel Holland - Senior Fund Manager

Nigel is a Senior Fund Manager and joined LGIM in 1997 from BZW where he had spent 16 years as a Fund Manager in the North American Equities team and then progressed to Director of US Equities in New York. Nigel was also articled to a firm of Chartered Accountants from 1974 to 1979. Nigel is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Paul Hilsley - Senior Fund Manager

Paul is a Senior Fund Manager for the Pacific Basin ex Japan team and takes primary responsibility for investments in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines. He is also responsible for the pan-regional management of the Asia Pacific ex-Japan Income Fund. He joined LGIM in 2006 and has 16 years experience in the industry having previously managed funds across both Asian and other international equity markets at Phillips & Drew Fund Management and UBS Asset Management. He holds a degree in Engineering, Economics and Management from Oxford University and is an Associate of the Society of Investment Professionals.

Rod Oscroft - Senior Portfolio Manager

Rod is a Senior Fund Manager and Head of the UK Small & Mid Companies team. He joined LGIM in 2000, from Hermes Investment Management where he specialised in small company research.  Prior to this Rod worked in the transport asset rental industry. Rod graduated from Cambridge University with an Honours degree in Economics.
