LGIM apoints new Head of Product

Rhodri Mason

Rhodri MasonLegal & General Investment Management (LGIM) appoints Rhodri Mason (photo, right) as Head of Product*, responsible for leading the business’ product function across all product teams. In this newly created role, Rhodri Mason will join on 7 March and report to Aaron Meder, Head of Investment at LGIM.

Rhodri has ten years’ experience in product design across all major asset classes and joins from Hermes Investment Management, where he was Head of Investment Solutions & Product Strategy. Prior to this, he was Head of UCITS Management at Man Investments and has previously held product-development roles at BlackRock, Barclays Global Investors and M&G Investments.

Aaron Meder, Head of Investment at LGIM, commented: “Rhodri brings valuable experience in understanding clients’ investment needs and translating that into effective product design and delivery. He will be responsible for continuing our efforts to build a centre of excellence for product strategy and development, and enhance our ability to innovate and achieve better outcomes for our clients.”
