Legal & General Investment Management announces the appointment of Robert J.Moore as Chief Executive Officer of its US affiliate, Legal & General Investment Management America
Legal & General Investment Management is pleased to announce that Robert J. Moore has beenappointed as Chief Executive Officer of its US affiliate, Legal & General Investment Management America, Inc (LGIMA). Mr. Moore, who has most recently been President, LPL Financial, will take uphis new role in early April and will be based in Chicago reporting to Mark Zinkula, Chief ExecutiveOfficer of Legal & General Investment Management.
Robert Moore succeeds Mike Craston who has served as Chief Executive Officer of LGIMA since2011.

LGIMA manages institutional assets of £85.3 billion*, part of LGIM’s worldwide total assets of £708.5billion as at 31 December 2014. The team has successfully grown its LDI and Fixed Income market share in the corporate pension space and is now building its index capabilities and expanding into the DC market.

Robert Moore – Chief Executive Officer, LGIMA
Robert Moore joins Legal & General Investment Management America as Chief Executive Officer with effect from April 2015. Until March 2015, he serves as president of LPL Financial with oversight of the company’s primary client-facing functions, client service and operations teams. After joining LPL Financial in 2008 as CFO, he transitioned to the role of president in 2012. Prior to LPL Financial, Robert served as chief executive officer and chief financial officer at ABN AMRO North America and LaSalle Bank Corporation. Robert also held a number of finance management positions, ultimately serving as Chief Financial Officer of Diageo PLC in Europe and the UK. Robert is the chairman of the Insured Retirement Institute (IRI) board of directors, a member of the board of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), a member of the board of the Financial Services Institute, and a member of the Financial Services Roundtable. He is also on the University of Texas at Austin Development Board. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Management in finance, marketing, and international business from Northwestern University. He is a CFA charterholder.
