Celebrating LGBT+ inclusion all year round

Legal & General is proud to be a Stonewall Diversity Champion and is committed to creating a more inclusive workplace.

Each year we participate in the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index (WEI), a benchmarking tool which evaluates our initiatives and helps us better understand the challenges to creating an inclusive working environment for LGBT+ employees.

We are also strong supporters of LGBT Great an initiative working to improve LGBT+ diversity in the savings and investment industry. As part of this we have signed up to the 50 for 50 campaign to demonstrate visible senior leadership support for LGBT+ inclusion.

Many of our LGBT+ role models have been recognised as part of the #hereiam campaign featuring LGBT+ talent currently working in the investments industry. 

Our LGBT+ employee networks play a crucial role in our approach.  With networks across all our locations we actively participate in Pride events across Brighton & Hove, Birmingham, Cardiff and London.  Our networks are committed to providing networking opportunities, advocacy and support for our LGBT+ colleagues across our business.
