Jacqui joins in her new role, Senior Operations Manager, this week and will report to Ian Mahoney, Legal & General’s Operations Director Workplace Savings. She will head up Workplace Savings existing dedicated resource to deliver operational readiness covering the key aspects of AE implementation including scheme administration services, AE scheme design, enrolment and member support.

Ian said: “Jacqui has a wealth of experience in leading operations at a senior management level, particularly in delivery of member enrolment and customer services, which are an ideal match for the skills required to deliver auto enrolment across new and existing schemes. Jacqui will also pick up operational responsibility for our Group Transfers Service Proposition and Employer Sponsored Schemes, which offer Group SIPP and CISA arrangements.

I am confident that this new role will ensure we are able to overcome any operational challenges that AE creates in the months ahead and I look forward to working with Jacqui on our AE programme.”

Jacqui Irons commented; “The Workplace Savings business is set to treble in size by the end of the AE staging programme and is well positioned to deal with this operational challenge. I am delighted to have joined Legal & General at a time when its services and products are leading in the drive toward Auto Enrolment and to head up a dedicated team supporting AE delivery.”

Workplace Savings recorded strong growth (reported in Q3 2011) with over 100 schemes secured during the first 9 months of last year including the transfer of Threadneedle's retail pension schemes and a number of significant new clients such as Marks & Spencer. These schemes will come on stream during 2012, and are expected to show substantial growth as a result of auto enrolment.

Jacqui previously worked at UNUM Ltd (a leading provider of Group Risk Insurance) in senior roles including Head of Customer Services, Group Operations Manager and more recently Head of Enrolment Services.
