Our employees' performance will determine how well the Company does its job of providing outstanding products and service to our customers, therefore it's important that we invest in their ongoing development. There are many training and educational opportunities available to employees that will allow them to broaden their skills and knowledge.
- The Company provides a variety of self-study education programs to help develop and improve employees' insurance-related professional qualifications. Currently, 25% of employees are enrolled on these courses, with most being registered for at least two courses.
- Employees have access to a tuition reimbursement program designed to encourage and assist in furthering employees' university level education.
- Specialised external seminars and courses are also available to assist employees with professional growth.
Legal & General Netherlands (LGN)
LGN encourages and assists employees to develop themselves through internal and external training courses. A particularly significant 2005 development was the completion of a pilot project to evaluate the scope for introducing Personal Development Plans for the Marketing and Existing Business department. The evaluation of the pilot is due to take place in early 2006.
