So throughout your career, we will support you with outstanding training and development resources. That starts from day one. Using our dedicated online learning system called The Learning Network, for example, you will find computer-based training modules covering key topics ranging from Health and Safety to Treating Customers Fairly.

But your career development will go way beyond formal courses. It is a seamless process of learning that focuses strongly on practical experience and real-life responsibility. You will also have a Personal Development Plan designed to build on your strengths and identify areas for further improvement. This could include – where appropriate – the opportunity to pursue professional qualifications and accreditation with relevant professional institutes.

You’ll have plenty of support, too. Our business strategy requires us to work with pace and energy, and we see feedback from your managers as a powerful way of improving your performance. In addition to regular one-to-one meetings with your manager, you will have two formal performance reviews a year. These will give you and your manager the opportunity to set personal and professional objectives – and make sure that your career is developing in the way you want it to.
